A pair of side tables or gueridons by Maison Meilleur

A pair of telescopic gilt brass  tripod side tables or gueridons, the circular top in antique Chinese lacquer on a brown blackground of calligrams, a work by the famous Maison Meilleur in Paris circa 1980 , very close to the models created for the Parisian home of Hubert de Givenchy in rue de Grenelle.

In very good condition with slight rubbing to the gilding on the central leg.

height 67 cm ( 26 1/2 in ches ) x diameter 32 cm ( 12 1/2 inches ) x width of legs 36 cm ( 14 inches )

The height being extendible van be higher or lower.
