Italian rococo silvered and gilt papier maché offerings tray

A large Italian rococo silvered and gilt papier maché (cartapesta) circular tray for offerings, with the Papal arms in the center, Tuscany, circa 1730. These trays were used for collecting money offerings for the Papal treasury.
